A single-boiler coffee machine with a professional brew group and a powerful steam wand. The ECM coffee machine Classika is perfect for the home barista who’s looking for reliable performance at a great price. This coffee machine may also be fitted with flow control so you can experiment with pressure profiling. Using the ECM Classika is also a tactile treat thanks to its lever design, snappy switches and buttons, and minimalist PID display.

Temperature stability

For accurate brewing and steaming temperature each time you use it, the ECM Classika is equipped with PID and thermosiphon system. The simple but sleek PID control centre and display lets you set your desired temperature for brewing and creating steam, and it also functions as a shot timer. Switching between the brew group and the steam wand is as easy as flicking the switches in front of the machine.

Pressure adjustment

Even without installing a flow control system, the ECM Classika still offers home baristas an opportunity to experiment with different brewing pressures. The easy-access expansion valve lets you adjust the pressure before pulling the shot, allowing you to explore how different settings impact the flavour of your favourite coffees.

Keep in mind that this feature is different from the pressure profiling that a flow control unit makes possible. You should not adjust the expansion valve in the middle of an extraction.

Improved portafilter

The ECM Classika comes with an angled portafilter and a set of baskets. The newly-improved portafilter has better ergonomics that make for easier handling even if you need to pull shot after shot. It also lays perfectly flat on surfaces so you can tamp away without making a mess. Other features that make the ECM Classika a fantastic coffee maker for the home are the removable drip tray, cup warmer, top-loading water tank, and a high-sheen casing that looks gorgeous anywhere.

Coverage

Delivery is available to Australian addresses. International delivery and local collection are not offered at checkout. Use a street address for coffee machines and bulky equipment. Contact us before ordering to a PO box, parcel locker or an address with access restrictions so suitability can be checked.

Dispatch and delivery estimates

Allow 1–3 business days for order processing. After dispatch, allow approximately 3–10 business days for standard delivery or 1–5 business days for express delivery. Express delivery does not reduce processing time. Regional and remote locations may take longer. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. These are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates.

If an order cannot be supplied or delivered as described, we will contact you to agree an alternative or cancellation and refund. We will not impose an additional delivery charge without your agreement.

A clear route for a change of plan or a product problem.

Change-of-mind returns

You may request a change-of-mind return within 30 calendar days of delivery. Contact us before sending anything back. The item must be unused, complete and in its original packaging, with accessories and instructions. You pay the return postage for a change-of-mind return. The original delivery charge is not refunded in this case. We do not charge a separate restocking fee.

Used equipment and opened consumables are not eligible for a change-of-mind return. This restriction does not apply to a claim about faulty, incorrect or misdescribed goods.

Faulty or incorrect goods

Contact us with the order reference and a description of the issue. Consumer guarantees apply independently of our 30-day change-of-mind policy or a manufacturer’s warranty. The appropriate remedy depends on the problem and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

How to arrange a return

  1. Call +61 480 811 861 and explain whether the request is a change of mind or a product problem.
  2. We will provide the return instructions and confirm the receiving address. Do not send goods to the contact address without arranging the return.
  3. Pack the item securely. Keep your postage receipt and tracking reference.
  4. After receipt, we assess the item and explain the outcome. If more information is needed, we will contact you.

Return delivery costs

For a confirmed fault, we cover reasonable return costs. For large or difficult-to-return goods, contact us so collection or another suitable arrangement can be discussed. Keep reasonable postage receipts. You do not have to pay a restocking fee for a valid consumer-guarantee remedy.

Refund timing

Once a refund is agreed, we aim to issue it within 7 business days to the original payment method. Bank processing may take additional time. We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a refund where you are entitled to a refund.
