With over 220 grind settings and a calibration tool, you’re never too far away from the perfect grind for everything from espressos to filter brews. This time-based grinder also gives you the option to program presets making it even easier to replicate successful results.
Within the Baratza Grinder, the Vario+'s burrs are 54mm ceramic flat burrs that excel in delivering uniform grinds. Start setting the grind with any of the 10 macro settings on the right and further refine your grind size with 22 micro settings on the left. The Vario+ also comes with a calibration tool for better precision. This time-based grinder has an accuracy of up to 1/10 of a setting, so you’ll always end up with the exact amount of grinds you need.
The superb performance and reliability of Baratza Vario+ also make it a great choice for small coffee shops or pop-ups. It comes with 3 programmable settings that are useful when switching between recipes and staff. Plus, it has an interchangeable grounds basket and portafilter holder, making it the perfect grinder for just about any kind of barista. The bean hopper also has a shut-off valve so you can easily switch out hoppers with different beans.
Baratza Vario W+
The Vario+’s little sister, the Vario W+ is a weight-based grinder that also has 54mm flat burrs, this time made with steel. Its integrated scale has an accuracy of 1/10 of a gram and the grinder also offers up to 220 settings. It features just about everything the Vario+ has including the programmable settings, LED display, LED lights, and shut-off hopper but it doesn’t have a portafilter holder.
