An espresso machine with a built-in grinder, the Lelit Kate is the perfect tool for the home barista who wants to make cafe-quality drinks in the comfort of their own kitchen. From grinding beans in the stepless adjustment grinder to pulling the perfect shot of espresso with the Lelit58 group, down to steaming milk for your cappuccino, the Lelit Kate Machine and Grinder can do it all.
Built-in Micrometric Grinder
Your coffee routine will start with Lelit Kate’s built-in grinder. It has 38mm conical burrs and stepless adjustment which should help you achieve the perfect grind for any type of coffee. Press the switch once to grind one dose, and twice for two doses. You can set the grinding times for each dose on the LCC. It’s also possible to grind on demand by pressing continuously on the switch. The 350g hopper is located on top of the machine and away from the heat to keep the coffee beans fresh.
Fast warm-up time
The Lelit Kate is ready to brew in 10 minutes upon starting the machine, meaning you never have to wait too long to make your coffee in the morning. Although this single-boiler espresso machine can’t brew and steam at the same time, it has a fast enough conversion time so you can steam your milk just a minute after brewing.
Lelit Control Center
Using the LCC, you can set the brewing temperature, steaming temperature, grinding times, activate preinfusion, and keep track of extraction times. The OLED screen is clear and easy to navigate. On top of the LCC, you’ll also find a backlit manometer where you can view the brewing pressure and see if you’re hitting the ideal range.
